trying something new!

Now that I’m back home for the duration, I have been cut off from one of my favorite food sources: Whole Foods Vegetarian Sushi.  Wherever I went this summer, I would find the nearest Whole Foods and eat sushi at least 3 times a week.  Well, now the nearest one is a good 3 hours away…not exactly convenient.  So, now I need to make my own.  One trip to the asian market, and I have all the supplies I need.

Pickled Ginger, Wasabi Paste, Rice Vinegar, Brown Rice, Avocado, Carrots, and Cucumber

The hardest part?  Cutting the cucumber and carrots!  Seriously, I couldn’t seem to get them the right size…

I got brown rice EVERY where.  All over the table, floor, and some even stuck to my shirt.
