how to spend a snow day
By the dawn
start by catching up on the biggest loser
Followed that with some Scrabble. Yes, I did use that Q--on a triple letter score!!!
Clear the driveway...or at least watch as the driveway gets cleared.
Try to figure out how much snow actually fell.
Run 9 miles with the Gazelle. Neither of us felt like doing a tempo, so we did a longer run. Felt AMAZING!
Celebrate another year of life for J-Money.
Laugh at the waiter who smeared whipped cream all over the Birthday Boy.
End the day hoping and dreaming of another snow day tomorrow...
Looks like a really fun day!!!

I’m trying to figure out Biggest Loser. Watched my first episode the other night. I don’t know if I should feel encouragement for our nation or dispirited.
My grandpa would say, “you’re living the life of the idle rich.” I love that lifestyle.

I am curious what word you used the Q with though. Even though I work from home, I was still glad for the snow day because it kept a lot of our clients home and made for a slow day.

I still need to finish catching up on BL. I lost out to a hockey game on Tuesday night, and I only made it through half of the online episode yesterday. I really am loving this season though! What do you think of the new trainers?

i really want to get into the biggest loser, but 2 hours seems like such a commitment for my attention span. i always end up going to another internet tab before it’s halfway over. i have a hard time watching tv unless i can also be doing computer things.
Scrabble has become one of my favorite winter past times.

This makes me want a snow day SO bad. One of those days when EVERYTHING is canceled and the kids and I are FORCED to watch all 9 seasons of Little House on the Prairie while laying on the couch in our pajamas eating popcorn with real butter!

The falling snow looks so pretty. For all the snow we’ve gotten this winter, I’ve only gotten to have one snow day. Winter time makes me wish I worked for a school or something so I could go out and play in it like a kid again.
